Another crash on Division Street in southeast Portland, this one fatal. And it's not far from where the city is allowing bars to set up tables out in the street where there used to be parking spaces. When the warm weather comes and the tragedy happens, we won't be surprised.

S.E. Division has an "s" curve at 42nd. In his drunken stupor he probably just kept going straight and plowed into the utility pole or lost control when he went into the curve. Yes, tables in the street along Division are a recipe for disaster.

Well, the obvious answer is to not allow automobiles on SE Division!
