Nutsy Smith was probably there, too
David Wu attended the inauguration today. According to the O, he "resigned in disgrace but... continues to use his privileges as a former lawmaker to gain access to events." Ewww.

I think he must be pretty busy here in town, what with all the therapy and apologizing he says he is doing.
(Apologies if this is a repost of something you have already covered.)

On the celebrity front, was Bruce Springsteen present? What has he had to say, if anything, about Obama 4 years in?

Do we really expect Wu to have developed common sense?

Remember the day of the first Obama Inauguration when Sam rushed back to tell us about Beau Breedlove?
Mayor Hales' trip to Washington has already gone a lot better than that.

Nutsy was there, as shown in this photo from the same site that documented Wu's appearance.
He's rather obviously third picture down on the right in the hat.

I wouldn't be surprised if the entire "insider" group were in DC right now. Has anyone noticed that the sun has been out more since they left or is it just a coincidence?

Speaking of the inauguration, given that airline miles traveled have about the same carbon footprint as vehicle miles traveled in a reasonably fuel efficient car; and given all the people flying to DC for the inauguration along with all the energy being consumed by troops and law enforcement for security, the motorcades, etc; it seems the greenie weenies would be complaining about all the pomp and circumstance of the inaugural celebration. Or is it that it is OK for elected officials to use massive amounts of energy and have huge carbon footprints while the general public is expected to conserve? Are we all really created/treated equal?

TR, lighten up. The bible that was used for the oath was recycled.

Dems of a feather, flock together. Bummer, that.

It is OK when the elected official happens to be one of the sustainability set.
If the other guy would have won, you'd be hearing all about how much jet fuel was expended to fly in all the mayors, governors, congress critters, etc.
