Jeld-Wen goes further into hock
The window company that isn't going bankrupt -- honest! -- and isn't leaving Oregon -- honest! -- just entered into a sale-leaseback deal for a bunch of real estate. That's a fancy way of mortgaging stuff you own to raise immediate cash. But it's all going to work out fine -- honest!

I'm not surprised. I think they may actually have engaged in more sponsorship than PGE, and that's saying a lot. At least they're a private business. There's something about a for-profit, monopoly utility spending money on sponsorships that puts my undies in a twist. At least Jeld-Wen is squandering it's own assets.
