Dust off my tin foil helmet
That last Baltimore touchdown yesterday -- did it look to you as if the players in the Denver secondary were deliberately throwing the game? Hmmm, a mystery in an NFL playoff contest, and certainly not the first.

No surprise over here. Right before the game, I wrote in "Mojo's Best Bets" in the "Upset Special":
This is the big bet of the day today -- the line was already down to 8 in some books in Vegas last night due to the heavier play accumulating on the Ravens.
Is this Ray Lewis' last game? Maybe not!

The mystery is why this video is tagged Business Insider.

Professional sports leagues are "entertainment", the is no law prohibiting the leagues from having their employees, refs umpires and players, from producing a certain outcome.
The real surprise is that people are surprised. A nice book on the whole matter can be found here http://www.thefixisin.net/

I don't think the NFL players are part of a fix (that looked like a blown coverage from the overhead camera) but I often have my doubts about the refs. The Super Bowl between Seattle and Pittsburgh was very suspicious. I have had my doubts about the league since then.

I kinda wondered also if they ever heard of a "prevent" defense.
Add in the fact that Manning threw it in with 30 seconds left in regular time especially when you contrast what ATL did with 30 seconds left.
That kinda pisses me off, since I'd love to see SF vs SEA right now since I think ATL is gonna blow this weekend.

That wasn't Manning, that was John Fox and ultra-conservative play calling. Plus, the Broncos were tied, and Atlanta was behind and had to score, so of course the Falcons are going to call more aggressive plays than the Broncos.

"that was John Fox and ultra-conservative play calling."
C'mon, if he was ultra-conservative why didn't he do the prevent on defense which is Fox's specialty? In addition, Manning calls the offense, regardless of what Fox is doing on the sidelines.
I still think Peyton fell victim to his own hubris.
