It has begun

It is snowing here at Blog Central. Repeat: Snowing. In Portland. Remain calm. Remain indoors. Cancel all activity. This is an actual alert. We are headed to the Sylvan overpass at this hour for team coverage.

Quick... off to Fred Meyer to buy all of the bread and milk before anyone else does. THEN TODAY would be a good day to shop for snow tires at Les Schwab.

This is not a drill! This is not a drill!

Uh oh. I know what happens next. If you find a blue police box on the overpass, RUN.

Damn. I took a snowflake in the eye on the way to work and fear I may be mortally wounded. Well, I mean, I'll probably be OK but don't go out - it could happen to you.

Hmmmm. It sure LOOKED like a lemon slushee...

I think we need music to go with this, don't you? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLIppgE45wM

Wow, I did not heed your warning, and I actually went out and ran 7 miles this morning in the snowfall. I'm lucky I didn't get caught in an avalanche or something! You need a Bojack Storm Center 9000.2 mobile app that synchs to RunKeeper -- "Warning: You are about to run in extremely hazardous conditions! Turn around and go back inside!"

Has the mayor sounded the "ALL CLEAR" yet?
