She gave good service

The "unpaid social liaison officer" actually got a military medal -- the Joint Chiefs of Staff Award for Outstanding Public Service -- for her contributions to the well-being of the armed forces.

"Outstanding public service", eh?
Truth is stranger than fiction....you can't make this stuff up!

The award citation praised Kelley for her “outstanding public service to the United States Central Command, the MacDill Air Force Base.

In the past weren't ladies called "Camp Followers" who did what Ms. Kelly does, now we honor them with a meaningless citation instead of cold hard cash?

Just more details from the "most transparent" administration ever!

I don't believe that this has anything to do with Ds or R's, but everything to do with a "military culture" of deception and entitlement.

Dr. Strangelove included this type element (part of being a general). Of course, such affairs are opportunities for espionage and national security lapses, too.

It was General Petreus's idea to give her the medal but I think several generals got onboard here.

I new a woman in Puerto Rico who had half of a submarine insignia. Well I am sure you can guess why.

This could become almost as much fun as Weinergate. The jokes just about write themselves.

Wouldn't it be easier just to give her a 4 or 5 star YELP review? I wonder which category would be most appropriate?

In order to get 'that woman, Ms. Kelley' upstaged and disappeared from headlines,
over a hundred Gazans had to die last week. Says something.

In other words, we are asked to believe that a single, low-ranking, zealous FBI agent has toppled the careers of two top US Generals: ... Nothing could be more far-fetched simply on prima facie evidence.

If you are going to service the military you should get some sort of recognition.
