Egad -- three more months of this

Blah blah blah blah campaign contribution limits blah blah blah blah.

It's a harbinger of things to come when all you see and hear from these two is a conversation about themselves and how much money they are going to spend/waste in securing public office. They aren't doing much to put forth solutions and proposals addressing the serious problems facing our community.

The race will come down to whether Torrid Joe can lose it for Jefferson Smith before T.A. Barnhart loses it for Charlie Hales.

It looks like they would much prefer to keep the focus on campaign fiances than on other issues. Have we heard much of anything else since the May primary? It is now August.

My solution to the arms war in campaign spending is simple.

Vow to never vote for the person who spends the most money - regardless of their campaign lies.

It is never about setting rules, it is about having integrity - something most people have lost the will to exercise.

The fireman vs. the bike guy. Good observation, Bill.

Tim:It is never about setting rules, it is about having integrity - something most people have lost the will to exercise.

And seems like something most people have lost the will to support a candidate who runs with integrity. Comments from people I hear is that such a person won't win. What a twisted world we live in.
