to me the most fascinating part of this story is that the alleged victim, Eileen Qutub, is a former member of the Oregon legislature, served about 8 years representing a chunk of Washington County in first the Oregon House and then the Oregon Senate, where she was the minority whip, IIRC. .
Apparently she bailed and has surfaced in Clark County, secure in her conceit that she now can solve part or all of the State of Washington's problems by going to Olympia instead of Salem.
What an ego.

"conceit?" A little sensitive about something, Nonny?
How about moved to save a bunch of money each year on taxes and get away from much of the policy cartoon as so excellently identified in this forum?

...to save a bunch of money each year on taxes...
I'm sure she can be much more creative than this - she could say, for example, that she remarried and just wanted to sleep with her new husband, who happened to live in Washington state.
Oh, wait.

Qutub had a lot to do with the cartoon policies....it takes two extremes to get the kind of dysfunction for which the Oregon legislature has become famous.
And it is amazing taht Qutub has learned so much about Washington issues in 4 short years that she considers herself uniquely qualified and positioned to t solve Washington's policies and tell Washingtonians how they should be governed....after all, Oregon's legislature has done that so well for us.
Is Eileen collecting on her Oregon PERS yet?
