Apple apparently thinks so.

Facebook integration is there with Apple's latest OS release this week.
I'm sure all those FB investors are happy with their return to date...NOT!
One thing that is positive is that Apple's investments are usually spot on, so will be interesting if this pans out.
Apple also values secrecy, and when that trust is broken, most times the deal gets broken, too.
