iNconvenience
They're shutting down iGoogle. Which means we'll have to figure out another way to do what we presently do with iGoogle. Sometimes we wish Google would just figure out how it wants us to live. Kind of like we feel about Portland's many "planners."

Yes, disappointment is in order.
iGoogle is fast, convenient, simple to use, etc.
Will have to go back to my own edited, hosted webpage that has all my favorite links.
I've played with many other "home pages" and none are as easy to use as iGoogle.
Note, Google says it is going away because there are so many Apps that that provide the same functionality...I'd rather have a webpage with everything I wish to use in one place, rather than have to call up many apps to provide the same info...

Pulse is better. It doesn't give you weather, but it gets clips from a bunch of different sources.

They claim the same thing can be accomplished via Google Play or Chrome extensions. I figure by Nov 2013 (when igoogle goes) there will be plenty of how-tos in order to get what you want.

This is why no one should trust to the "cloud" to do storage, calendar management, or even to do lists and contacts. What Google created Google can destroy at it's whim. (Even if it is a good product.)

I still miss Google Desktop. (Guess I was one of way too few who used it.)
