It may be a security issue more than a capacity issue. The Secret Service has had Obama at the Convention Center before; they know the building and its surroundings. The Art Museum, probably not so.

Sounds more like there is no shortage of people wasting their money to get close to Obama for a couple of hours.

Thank jebus. I live a couple blocks away from the Art Museum and wasn't looking forward to all the disruption.

Once the funds were obtained, no point in giving a rat's arse about Oregon.
This state will have zero influence on who wins.
And who wins will have zero influence on whether we start killing Iranians in broad daylight.
The only question is can they wait until November to start the blood bath?
