Portland sewer barons drain everyone dry

No one's money is safe, it seems, so long as Portland City Hall is running a sewer system. Now the customers of a bunch of drainage districts out by the Columbia River are feeling the suction.

We have a plethora of attorneys in Portland. If one of them will draft a referendum to curtail the City's unlimited power to tax residents for water and sewer I will get an army of citizens together to get signatures. I guaranty it will pass with no trouble. Citizens are fed up with our out of touch Mayor and Council. I know I for one feel helpless as my garbage and sewer costs rise. How are struggling families and people on set incomes supposed to cope? Why do we keep taking it? I will get involved is someone will get the ball rolling.
