How about this? 7'3" Hasheem Thabeet heading in goals for the Timbers? He could probably get his head above the goalie's hands, for a clean shot on goal.

I think you're on to something, Bill. But I think he should play goalie. No running and he can block everything that comes in. He's already familiar with the themes of guarding the basket and goaltending.
