Good Lord. If he were alive today, he'd be dead by now.

JFK was one of the greatest disasters to hit the U.S. in the 20th Century.
He ignored advisers, trusting only his clique. His vacillation with Khrushchev led to the Berlin Wall and the Cuban Missile Crisis. When he decided to show that he could not be pushed around he did so by increasing U.S. forces in Vietnam.
We all know where that led.
The second half of the 20th Century would have been far different if Nixon had won in 1960. Khrushchev and Castro had both met Nixon and knew that he was not some wealthy dilettante. (As Khrushchev once described JFK.)
