Skanner endorses Hales

They go for the "experience" hook:

For this crop of endorsements, we at The Skanner News put a premium on individuals who know how their prospective elected offices work, because our region doesn’t have time for learning curves right now.

Does it have time for more streetcars and developer giveaways?

Nurse Amanda also gets the nod.

"put a premium on individuals who know how their prospective elected offices work"

Isn't that Sam and Randy's claim to fame?

These guys really are slow learners when it comes to politicians.

Yeah..."Knows how their prospective elected office works".

Enough so that he bailed out on his elected position last time, leaving the electorate in a lurch, just so he could earn the big bucks.

Now, he wants to come back? I think he smells the money.

Hales: He's in it for the money.

....because our region doesn’t have time for learning curves right now.

Please, if we don't have the time for learning curves from new people with a different and better agenda, we are doomed.

Is this paper suggesting that we stay on an old path?

Hales is from that old system and path. In my opinion he is part of the agenda that got us into this city going in a downward spiral! Now we want to continue with him?? No thank you to his kind of experience!

Saying you're a Washington resident to evade income taxes while you simulatneously claim to be an Oregon resident for voting purposes? If that isn't a felony of some sort, maybe we should all jump on that one. I wonder how many of his MAC developer buddies do the same thing? Sort of makes me sick that this guy acts so entitled to act like a scummy liar and pretend with a big stupid grin on his face that he didn't know any better.
