Pity the poor police officer who endured that close up. I couldn't watch past the first minute. Did the cop finally beat him into silence? I would have.

How on earth did he memorize all those lyrics and remember them with such accuracy and emotion, while so completely plastered? Must have done this routine many times. Maybe every time he gets drunk, which may be frequently.
This refutes the old saw about success being 90% sweat and 10% genius. In spite of drunkard's obvious sweat and irrefutable genius, this was simutaneously insufferable and repulsive. (And fascinating, in an oh my god-is-this-really-for-real-and-is-he-REALLY-going-to-remember-that-whole-saga, seriously...?...that song was like 5 songs, and 10 states of teenaged mind...)
Poor cops are probably too young to even remember that song.
