The Easter Bunny every year reminds me of rabbit's-foot Luck.
A news item this week reported singing schoolkids took 'God' out of the verses
of God Bless America. Hearing that, I wondered what word they sang in its place
for uniform cadence. Wondering that, I figured their choice was just dumb Luck.
And it works! As in: Luck Bless America.
In Luck We Trust.
Pray to Luck, as Luck would have it.
Luck almighty.
... and vice versa ...
Beginner's god.
Good god to all the contestants.
A keychain rabbit's foot for good god.
Risk-averse 'conservative' investors wisely don't press their god.
