The clowns shilling here for the Yakima Millionaire's baseball scam were jamming a 5% tax on any movie, fair, amphitheater, golf game tickets down our throats to pay for most of this rip off... and, of course, all without asking us... and all without the public profiting from it.
Fortunately, our elected republican-turned democrat commissioner remembered this is an election year... and after allowing tens of thousands of wasted taxpayer dollars in county staff time, he finally killed the deal... doing what SHOULD have been obvious to a blind man considering how badly these people were going to screw us.
Thank God there's no room in Tigard for a baseball stadium.
At least WalMart will pay taxes and be every day vibrant, not vibrant only on game days for four hours on those days and dead quiet the rest of the time.
