Cirque du Bombaste skips Portlandia
Disappointment for Portlanders who were hoping that the Republican Presidential race would show up next week for a debate on the banks of the Willamette. And it might have benefited from a stop at OHSU for treatment of anemia.

There IS an Oregon Republican Party?
I thought they went broke.

Ah, well, better use of airtime to run a doo-wop re-run instead. At least we'd see some performers with real heart, giving to the people of the world.

Speaking of the banks of the Willamette, I was sort of proud that my Youtube song "Smart Talking Fool" - written about Newt Gingrich and Jefferson Smith - was up and ready for the occasion.
I saw a headline recently saying Newt was "foolish" so it's tracking reality pretty well.

Hey it appears they are doing more to rescue you from your worst than the Oregon Democrat Party is.
Why can't we all just get along?
Come to the Clackistani party tomorrow night and see how it's done.

Shoot, at least the Republican party is having debates...
I'd hate to be a Democrat and be stuck in lock step..
