Gunplay -- on Monday night, behind the Doug Fir

The police found a shot guy at around 11:30 last night at SE Ninth and Ankeny. Not life-threatening. But the soul of this city is definitely being threatened by all the nighttime bar shootings close in on the east side.

What! In SoBu? That's not supposed to happen there! I thought the planners had everything planned out according to the planned plan. There must not be enough bike lanes. Or maybe some more streetcars will fix it. Thank goodness someone wasn't actually killed. That could spook the investors and speculators.

The worst part is that the shooting victim may just have been giving himself a self-guided walking tour of the Burnside-Couch traffic couplet.

Crime-Met is tired of shouldering all the burden of gun violence so it was decided, "...some of us think it's better to 'spread the violence around'...".

So spokeswoman Mary Fetsch is determined that Crime-Met spread some of the violence away from Max, the platforms and buses.

"We are the 99% !"
