This popped into our email inbox at the stroke of midnight last night:
There was a money pitch at the end.
Given the polish on those graphics, we'd venture to guess that this campaign has been percolating for a while now. We never saw it coming, though.

A tightly controlled presentation usually means that real pros are at work. It'll be interesting to see what turns up when someone follows the money trial.

Look out "big business," cuz apparently she's leaving you out of her promised fight.

God, one more candidate with knowledge and passion. More of the same old 4th gen of Neil's puppets. Hopefully, this doesn't work she can get a job at NW Nat Gas.
Then again she has Barbara Roberts endorsement and looks pretty mean.

Ellen Rosenblum: Because You Haven't Been Screwed Enough

From her official bio: "In 1989, she was appointed to the Multnomah County District Court."
"Former Governor Barbara Roberts later appointed Ellen to the Circuit Court..."
"Most recently, Ellen served as a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals from 2005-2011."
So why does Barbara deserve a shout-out, but not poor Neil and Ted?

A machine candidate is anathema to the ideal of judicial independence. I am voting for Holton.

The Oregon A.G. is running against Wall Street? How quaint. Especially given the "All Oregon/All my Life" approach.
Can we assume Brand X "ain't from around here"?
I expect candidates for Attorney General and/or the judiciary to demonstrate greater intellectual honesty than that.

Intellectual honesty, in Oregon politics?

I received an email from Ms. Rosenblum, too. I was curious as to how she had obtained my email address. After your post, it occurs to me she may have gotten my email from the Oregon State Bar. I checked online, and my email address is not provided on the public section of the OSB website. I called OSB and was informed that there is a database that can be accessed (somehow) to obtain this private (between me and the OSB)information. I was told that I would have to get authorization from an OSB manager to opt out of the disclosure.

P.S. I have nothing against her or her candidacy. I was simply curious as to how I got on her mailing list.

I'm voting for Judge Roy Bean

Barbara Roberts?
Really? Oregon voters still regard Barbara Roberts as a living Oregon asset?
What the heck is going on?
Barbara Roberts has never been anything but bad for Oregon.
Her current stint as an appointed Metro councilor is an insult beyond measaure.
She has never had anything to offer but the preservation of all things wrong with Oregon.
How lame is Rosemblum to not grasp ANY of this hard core reality?
She's bragging about having a Barbara Robert endorsement as a high caliber beginning of her campaign?
Oregon has a wide spread affliction in which Barbara and Ellen both have terminal cases.
Other than that she seems like a swell lady.

Does her husband still own the Willamette Week?
