As a long-time tender of the bar, I'd be more concerned about those with drinking problems carrying a concealed weapon than a medical MJ card holder. Or an Ambien user. Or a hopped up cop on steroids.

I believe Oregon law is they have to give you a concealed permit unless you've been convicted of a felony. Not knowing her record of convictions but I'm guessing she doesn't have any so there was no choice, the sherriff was wrong.
Next stop, revisiting concealed carry and the medical MJ law. Your choice, pick one or the other but not both!
