I'm liking the Giants for this weekend's upset, but will take a hard look and evaluate the Texans' chances, too. Even on the road, the Saints should win -- but maybe decrepit Candlestick Park will be a factor.* I'll leave Tebow and the Broncos to the faithful.

And, FYI:

The Packers issued a "Lambeau shovel advisory" on Friday, and 450 people showed up to earn $10 per hour clearing snow from the seats at the stadium in advance of Sunday's playoff game against the Giants.

OUTDOOR PRACTICE: The Saints practiced outdoors for the first time this week as they prepare for an outdoor game Saturday.

They're planning to do the same today, then they'll do a walk-through at Candlestick Park on Friday.

The weather conditions aren't expected to be rough. Forecasts call for a high of 65 degrees and just a 10 percent chance of rain. There's always some wind to contend with at Candlestick, though.

Hey Captain:

Love the reference--I still have my original Salty Dog vinyl around here, um, somewhere...

It still soars.
