They were part of our religion

Archeologists in Jerusalem are puzzling over strange, recently uncovered V-shaped ground markings. As a public service to these scientists' counterparts centuries in the future, we provide an important explanatory link, here.

There is no bicycle logo, however. Presumably because donkeys were the main form of transit. Perhaps these were donkey-stops?

What the wire service story failed to mention is that scientists at that same dig site also found the inscription, "Keep Israel Weird!"
