It's a comment that probably wouldn't make a lot of sense outside of Texas, but I have a lot of friends who graduated from Texas A&M University. I personally like the school, I've lectured there a few times, and I very nearly went there for a degree in veterinary medicine. This is why I get such a cackle out of solidarity with some VERY right-wing friends when we all say "Rick Perry is such a fake Aggie that he probaly went to UT."
