Who says one little Tweet can't say it all?

How's about Hiz Honor gets off is behind and gets to WORK for a change instead of twittering all the time?
Oh! how silly of me....Mayor Creepy has never had a real job so he is totally ignorant of the verb work!

How about we just let the Occupiers have the keys to Wapato Correctional Facility?

It's not like anybody at MultCo is going to use it.

They can pay the utilities and police themselves; we'll see how long it takes to recreate the Lord of the Flies. I'm guessing about 6 months.

I nominate this week as Bojack's finest ever.

The spread of scandelous topics he has posted over the last 6 days or so is unequalled.

Just saw the police chief on KGW. Its almost like he is running for office.

Cops just deployed pepper spray downtown, fwiw. @ Chase Bank.

A friend who works downtown reporting building in lockdown on and off all day, keeping the jackals at bay. Not as if a bank is in the building. The mob caught sight of an exec in window and went ballistic, shouting and chanting. Apparently the sight of a suit and tie is enough to set them off.
Brilliant minds at work there. Really winning over the rest of for sure now.

Can Sam stop taking credit for how well things are going now?

Downtown looks like a madhouse.

Pulling riot police out... and people stay on the sidewalks and let the trains and buses through...

avoid portland. always.

I find it curious that photos of NY police officers showed a lot of them without gloves or riot gear/face masks. Of course, perhaps NY protestors are better-behaved than spitting PDX protestors.

Clackamas County Sheriff has been called back in for support.

Clackamas County sheriff? That's a laugh!

Is this the beginning?

RT #SamAdams: You're the damn elected "leader" of our city. Not me. You get paid the big bucks to fix the problems. If you're asking me for advice, you're going to pay me $75,000 and give me an office in City Hall. If you don't like that advice, you're welcome to resign as Mayor so that I can run for office.

"Clackamas County sheriff? That's a laugh!"

Of course I meant their deputies.

Whatever are you talking about?

They were there at Occupy Portland last Sunday with Salem, Vancouver and other departments.
Is that a laugh too?

Erik, you've got the right idea. Considering the number of "consultants" hired by City Hall to tweet all day, why not collect some of that money and pull off some real change? (Just expect Sam to shove you aside, literally, and take credit once it works. To paraphrase a very apt comment about former Texas Senator Phil Gramm, the most dangerous place in the universe is between Sam Adams and his BlackBerry.)

And is it just me, or can you hear the "I can't handle this right now: I'm getting my nails done for that autograph session for 'Portlandia' fans!" tone in that snippy little response?
