There goes another one

Rejuvenations just sold out to Williams-Sonoma. Although the latter is a public company, apparently they're going to try to keep the terms of the deal secret.

Good. Glad to see an entrepreneur make good.

I wonder wht changes there will be....
While I am pleased for the owners' success,I hope the local fall out will not be too dire for the employees and the community at large.

Will likely be folded into Williams-Sonoma's Pottery Barn operations. Both shops have some similar type offerings.

When the "living experience" planners get done, Portland will be a giant corporate retail outlet theme park.

My guess is that W-S will use Rejuvenation as the "high end" version of Pottery Barn--Pottery Barn catalogs will feature a subset of mass market appeal lights from Rejuvenation, and inevitably the quality of Rejuvenation products will decrease. Pottery Barn features just as much Made in China crap as your closest Wal-Mart.
