Occupy eviction begins in Big Apple
The mayor of New York City has ordered the police to close the encampment at Zuccotti Park by the original Occupy Wall Street protesters. On a Monday night at 1:30 in the morning. No two-day advance notice, no time to organize a potluck and music festival. How cruel! They must not have a Bus Project back there -- they're that backward.

I thought Sarah Palin was the worst the Repubs could muster. I was wrong. Herman Cain really stinks. He may be an awesome CEO, but he's the worst presidential candidate we've seen yet.

Well, there's the difference between Bloomburg and Mayor Creepy. Bloomburg may have no problems with selling out New York to developers trying to attract the "creative class", but that doesn't mean he actually likes them.

What about all the people who supported the OWS folks?
Where's Obama, Pelosi and the others that supported, encouraged and championed the poor oppressed 99% that OWS represented so well?
I guess the OWS failure no longer fits the narrative and so the media can run off looking for the next thing that will help make them and their failed policies look better.

Not so fast...

A New York judge on Tuesday issued a temporary restraining order allowing protesters to return to Zuccotti Park only hours after police forcibly removed them, arresting dozens.
The order by Justice Lucy Billings set a hearing date for Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. and said that until the matter was considered at that hearing, the city and Brookfield Properties, the owners of Zuccotti Park, would be prohibited from evicting protesters or "enforcing 'rules' published after the occupation began or otherwise preventing protesters from re-entering the park with tents and other property previously utilized."

I'm confused. What are Obama and Pelosi supposed to do about this? Maybe they can declare martial law and wrest control of NYC from Bloomberg.

After thinking about it a short time, the judge has ruled that smelly kids do not have a First Admendment right to camp in the park. Which of course is what any first year law student could have figured out several weeks ago when this all started.
