I know it's nervy trash-talking when you're sitting here with nine pathetic points, but you know what really hurts is losing to something called "genop's gal." And what the heck is a "Weavemo" anyway? At least I'm beating the pants off my buddy with the most ironic misnomer in Underdog Pool history-- "Moneymaker". Hey Jack, is it too late to ask for a refund?

It's still early. We've got eight regular season weeks and three playoff weeks to go. One big 'dog and you're right back in this thing.

Re: "...is it too late to ask for a refund?"

BCL,

Good times are just around the corner:

"'To me, baseball is better with tradition, baseball is better with history, baseball is better with fans who care, baseball is better in ballparks like this, baseball is better during the day. And baseball is, best of all, when you win,' Epstein said during a packed Wrigley Field news conference."

But don't expect an instant miracle: "sheer plod makes plow down sillion shine." The AFL East is enough to keep a player busy this entire season.

Hey Gardiner, don't go all intellectual on me now...remember, I'm a freakin' Cubs fan, which means I'm not too smart.

8 points for the asterisks...rack it!
