Maxed out
Poor Max Brumm, the youngster who's running for mayor of Portland. Not only can't he get anyone to take him seriously, but now there's another young guy named Max in the race -- Max Bauske. You talk about frustrating. Brumm deserves better, but we doubt he'll get it.

My hinky meter says that VOIS is spinning a web of BS.
Since Sir Jefferson is an elected official, I would do a public records request on his office to determine whether he was invited and/or scheduled to deliver the keynote before he announced his candidacy.
Also, since he is an elected official--if I recall correctly--he must respond to the request within 7 days. Let's see if he can meet that deadline.

I applaud both these young guys for getting involved. Of course, they won't win, but I appreciate their engagement.
