Problem: Windfarms slaughter birds.
Solution: Switch to a wind turbine design that is quieter and less destructive (albeit less efficient).
But better hurry: Government subsidies are drying up.

No, wind farms in flyways slaughter birds. Altamont Springs is a Fukashima level blunder that way, but a reasonably sited wind farm kills far fewer birds than an equivalent sized area of homes with the usual number of cats does.
