Oregonian calls Wheeler out on travel perk secrecy
As well it should. As much as we like the state treasurer, on this issue he just doesn't get it.
How foolish of Wheeler to let something so petty stain his tenure in state office. What terrible truth is being hidden here? He needs to tell his "Masters of the Universe" investment geniuses that their wild weekends are over. If they don't like it, they can go make the millions that they're supposedly worth elsewhere.

Today Oregonlive points out another of Sam's water swindles.
But, I don't know. Multnomah County and Portland just feel hopeless.
My family has such a long history here and I've so many kin and associations it's difficult to leave.
