Expect the White House to issue the following statement soon,
"I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the commander in chief playing golf. ... I feel I owe it to the families to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a [kinetic military action] just sends the wrong signal."

Lessee - Obama/Bush:
- Indecisive - Check
- Believes in throwing banks a ton of money and calling it good - Check
- Spends a lot of time on vacation - Check
- Accomplish a lot of nothing - Check
I'd have to agree with the pictures.
300M people and these two are the best we can get?

Let's see, how many PROMISES did this guy break?
A few thousand less than Bush, so far. He's undone some of the more egregious environmental rapaciousness of Bush--genuine improvement. Other than that, I see an mediocre president who--I suspect--is saving up ammunition for a possible second (and final) term.
The "broken promise" about Iraq is mainly false. The last US combat troops left Iraq late last summer. Are there still military personnel there? Yes, of course--the "ending" takes a bit longer.
The real problem--which Obama made no promise about--is the blatant US effort to build a *permanent* military base there, as it has in dozens of other countries. This is happening (has happened for all intents and purposes).
Obama definitely isn't a success, but expecting one person (or administration) to completely change the country (and thereby large parts of the world) in 24 months seems a bit absurd.
Maybe he should just declare "Mission Accomplished", like Bush did?

~~~>He probably consults Bush daily!
Everybody seems so surprised that Obama is just like Bush...Just think about it...
We have the best politicians money can buy. Our politicians do not serve those who vote for them in elections but instead serve those who bankroll their campaigns. Often the bankrollers contribute to both parties so they win either way.
The politicians answer not to the voters but to the campaign contributors. The persona and demands of the campaign contributors are largely the same over time. They are "special interests" and not public interests.
This will continue until the politicians can no longer pay of their campaign contributors with public money.
Any questions?
