The White House continues to baffle us. After caving completely to minority Republicans in the Senate on taxes, now the President is suddenly going to defy generations of tradition and start nominating federal judges over the objections of the senators from the states in which the judges are to sit. Yeah, like that's going anywhere.

Traditions are meant to be broken! After all, what's Obama supposed to do when the home state Senators are, say, Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell?

At least Obama found someone to nominate who has bi-partisan opposition.

Frankly, it just further demonstrates how inept at every level this administration really is. Mind-boggling the list of mis-steps in their stride.
