It's the principle of the thing... not

The White House continues to baffle us. After caving completely to minority Republicans in the Senate on taxes, now the President is suddenly going to defy generations of tradition and start nominating federal judges over the objections of the senators from the states in which the judges are to sit. Yeah, like that's going anywhere.

Traditions are meant to be broken! After all, what's Obama supposed to do when the home state Senators are, say, Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell?

"Rep. Dan Boren (D-Okla.), the only Democrat from the state in Congress, called the nomination a 'misstep,' according to the Tulsa World."

At least Obama found someone to nominate who has bi-partisan opposition.

Well, when a fellow quits smoking he does need to come up with other outlets for his impulsiveness.

Frankly, it just further demonstrates how inept at every level this administration really is. Mind-boggling the list of mis-steps in their stride.
