Yesterday, Yahoo Sports reported that the stadium where Sunday's Major League Soccer championship match was held was "less than full."
The story went on to report that during the match MLS officials went into the stands on one side of the stadium to encourage fans to move over to seats on the other side of the stadium where the cameras were pointed, to make things look better for TV.
Here's a suggestion -- something that has worked well in Hollywood movies that can't afford a lot of extras -- paint the seat backs to look like people, then sprinkle in enough real people to make it look like the stands are full.
