Wanted: dead or alive

No, you aren't.

I guess that knowing you are not wanted is a good thing, especially if it prevents someone attempting to flee police for no reason. The result in a meaningless car or foot pursuit could end in tragedy.

However, this program might be more of an incentive for wanted offenders to run from police until such time that amnesty or a reduction in punsihment is offered.
