Dudley's still ahead, but...
... his lead statewide is down to less than 16,000. Multnomah County still has something like 65,000 to 70,0000 ballots to count. Kitzhaber should pick up around a 30,000-vote margin there.
It may not be over until Friday.

What is up with Multnomah County's Elections Division? They just tweeted that they'd posted "Update 10," which shows 220 votes counted since Update 9 two hours earlier!

Dudley's a nice guy but he's not going to win this one...

At least the house and senate are tied. That should stop any tax increase mischief and force the needed cuts.

What is up with Multnomah County? The city that works sure is taking its sweet time.

Mike: They're waiting on King county to get back to them on where to find uncounted ballots.

All the ballots have to be opened and the Dudley one's tossed. That's very time consuming.

The shredders are overheating, so they have to give them some time to cool down.

Tells you how un-appealing Kitz is - he's barely gonna win in this super blue state.

Orestar has Dudley winning by 11K votes with 100% of the votes in.

"Orestar has Dudley winning by 11K votes with 100% of the votes in."
Do you happen to have the link to that page? I cannot locate it.

It says 100% the whole time. It's not 100% yet, and won't be for a while.

Ah, I see that, I got excited too soon.

Another place to keep an eye on is: http://www.co.multnomah.or.us/dbcs/elections/2010-11/results.shtml
The county received 280,011 ballots and they are inching their way toward counting them. They just now (4 p.m.) released an update that put them at 237,490. The new count hasn't been folded into the state results yet, but Kitzhaber continues to get 7 out of every 10 votes they count here. With 43,000 more to count, unless something comes in big for Dudley from elsewhere in the state, the tall guy is surely toast.

Now that 4 p.m. update has been included in the statewide totals and Dudley's lead is down to a tad over 5,000 votes....

Some are calling it for Kitz now. Hooray for the lesser of two evils. (I'm sure many of you would beg to differ.)

Oh goody.

Gotta love the voter fraud in Multnomah and Lane counties... At least the US House is back in control of fiscally prudent men and women to bring this country back from the abyss that Barry, Harry and Nancy took it to....

Hats off to the diligent elections officials in Multnomah County, who are willing to keep counting until Kitzhaber wins.

It's only fair that Kitzhaber should have to fix the State of Oregon's fiscal disaster. He helped precipitate it.
