This is not an ad for Jim Huffman

No, it's just some people who are very concerned about health care in this country, and they just happened to pick this week to point out that it's all my senators' fault:

Was there some law on health care? I must have missed it.

What, they will only make $300K a year instead of $400K? I'm crying crocodile tears for the medical profession.....

So how many people died from medical errors last year in Oregon?

My dad was a member of AMPAC. Back in the day, they were bitterly opposed to Medicare.

On the other hand... people whose relatively high incomes are derived from professional work are getting squeezed in an economy controlled by financial markets just like everybody else. Plus, most doctors start practice with the equivalent of a mortgage to pay on their student loans.

Is it any more timely than Obama's trip to India in the hours following the election?

"So how many people died from medical errors last year in Oregon?"

1/10,000th of 1 percent of those whose lives were saved or improved by medical care.
