Give the 'dog a bone
Another week, another slate of games for the players to choose from in our charity pro football underdog pool. Good luck, players:
8 KANSAS CITY at Indianapolis
7 DENVER at Baltimore
6.5 ARIZONA vs. New Orleans
6 TENNESSEE at Dallas
6 OAKLAND vs. San Diego
6 TAMPA BAY at Cincinnati
4 MINNESOTA at New York Jets
3 PHILADELPHIA at San Francisco
3 ST. LOUIS at Detroit
3 CLEVELAND vs. Atlanta
3 NEW YORK GIANTS at Houston
2.5 CAROLINA vs. Chicago
2.5 WASHINGTON vs. Green Bay
Readers, help them out: Which underdog (in caps) can win its game outright, without the benefit of the point spread? The higher the spread, the more points to be gained for picking that winning 'dog.
UPDATE, 10:30 p.m.: The Jacksonville-Buffalo game is off limits, because the bookmakers have it as a pick 'em. (Not to mention crummy.)

Just curious, why no line for the Buffalo vs. Jacksonville game? Was it a pick-em?

Good question; I'll ask my oddsmaker.

Yes, it's a pick 'em, which means under the official rules, it's not on our slate.

Buffalo v Jacksonville has a line of zero...

Wonder if the Randy Moss trade to Minnesota will change that line?

It may in Vegas -- it won't for us. Our lines are locked when first posted.

Maybe next year there should be something for whomever picks the MOST underdog games correctly.Looks to me like some are just going with the biggest longshots hoping to get lucky.....

Please PJB try not to disturb me while I attempt to channel genop's mom. Doh.... I hope this isn't considered an unfair advantage.
