City Halls getting meaner

People aren't paying their local tax bills, and that's leading to stepped-up collection measures.

I don't get how a county can "take your car" or put a boot on the car for failure to pay property taxes? So failure to pay property tax allows them to go after any of your assets? I thought it was limited to just the property itself?

Evil, evil banks forcing people out of their houses. I guess the govt has learned a thing or two from them.

I always thought their one option was to put a lien against the house for up to 3 years before they can foreclose on you.

Govt is now officially the enemy of the common man.
