So far, the sewer's held up
I see they "broke ground" yesterday on the PGE Park re-renovation, which has actually been in progress for many months. Mayor Creepy's off somewhere getting a foot massage, and so Nick Fish stood in as Goofball Pro Tem at the ceremony. That's him with Little Lord Paulson, Paulson's water boy, and the used car salesman known as the "major league" soccer commissioner.

Dman:
If they use the actual ground for the ceremonial groundbreaking, they run the risk of puncturing the Tanner Creek pipe and flooding the stadium with raw sewage.
I, for one, hope they do a good job renovating the stadium because I think they might need to use it for citizens displaced by the big earthquake.

My warped sense of justice is just waiting for the sewer line to cave in when one of the equipment operator's forgets and crosses over where he shouldn't be. I do have friends that "flow" into this line so maybe I won't wish too hard.

I would like to see the line cave in during a soccer game.
