Tired of sitting behind Tri-Met buses?

Relax. Your problems will soon be over.

I'm not sure if you can really call that a bus, since it appears to be on rails.

Which, of course, means that Portland must have some. There isn't a rail transit that Metro doesn't want.

Damn good idea.

Tear up the Banfield and LR, expand them both and build the sucker!

Probably even do a hybrid so that all those LR cars don't go to the rust heap.

Maybe the new Chinese Volvos could mechanically hook up and the driver takes a nap.

But I can't imagine how it would go around corners, so only where the streets are perfectly straight. Better start condemning houses so we can straighten our roads. ;)

Never happen here. More likely they'd just build a bus that blocks 2 lanes at once. Bus drivers already try to do that on SE Hawthorne in the Bicycle Taliban zone.

If that's all China can come up with, we've got nothing to worry about.

Not exactly sure how semi-trucks are going to work in that environment.
