Terrorism -- hold the pickle
Even if this isn't true, it's funny, and all too plausible. A Portland reader writes:
Someone left a ham sandwich on a MAX train at the airport and the authorities labeled it as a "suspicious device." The German shepherd they had smelling the suspicious device instead ate the suspicious device.

Most likely true, I spent a lot of time assisting with local LE K-9 training and was given a retired dog and kept him until his death.
The reward system and the encouraging words would make the dog think the sandwich was the reward!

Ham sandwich? Plainly a hate crime perpetrated by some evil tea party participant.

It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear.
