Another idea for those ugly cell towers
Rather than dress them up to look like trees or smokestacks, how about something like this?

I've often wondered why many items we use/see everyday in the landscape couldn't be made more sculptural and therefore aesthetically pleasing without extra cost, particularly if they can be mass-produced.
