I took communications 101 one semester at Lewis and Clark. In the parlance of that course two people meeting each other is a dyadic encounter.

I got one of those, too, when my wife went in with a herniated disc. The difference was that I felt a lot more like Christopher Walken in Communion. You know, when the aliens give him an anal probe with a Dremel tool the size of a fire hose nozzle?
