A summer place

We have arrived at a place where the data waves from AT&T come and go, here one minute, gone the next. The waves lapping up against the dock, however, are pretty steady. Is it really only 60 degrees in Portlandia today? The water temperature here is 76, and the sun is scorching; it feels pretty cool when we take a dip.

Do you have oil on you when you come out of the water?

Say "hi" to BO and MO for us.

I'm guessing the water off of the coast of Maine is not 76 degrees....maybe a little further south. Enjoy the trip and a Cuba Libre.

Jersey shore is my guess. Cape May? Or perhaps Rehobeth in Delaware.

Fond memories.

Love Rehoboth Beach..Nicola's Pizza. Still get Nic-o-boli's for Christmas and bowl game treats.

If you are in Rehoboth Beach be sure to check out the dogfish head brewpub.

Jack, if you are at the Jersey Shore, Cape May or Atlantic County, e -mail me and I will buy you lunch or dinner!

somewhere in Massachusetts?

I'm betting Stone Harbor or Avalon with an excursion or two to Boardwalk in the Wildwoods.

Too bad you're missing out on our annual 3 days of perfect Portland summer weather--low 80's, morning clouds with afternoon sunshine, and a slight breeze. But enjoy where you are--hope you're having some great family time!

Water temp in the Cape May area is about mid seventies this time of year but I don't remember that scene above when I was in boot camp there. And when I was out of boot camp I was seldom sober. Along with many others. ;)
