Fit to be tied

Interesting factoid: If you had picked every match so far to end in a draw, you would be in second place in our World Cup "pool."

I made most of my picks based on which country of the two I most wanted to visit before senility sets in..

"Factoid" has unfortunately taken on the colloquial meaning of "little fact", but a more accurate definition (and more useful) is per OED (and other dictionaries):

"Something that becomes accepted as a fact, although it is not (or may not be) true; spec. an assumption or speculation reported and repeated so often that it is popularly considered true; a simulated or imagined fact."

To wit: Just about everything reported in media is factoid.

I am in 5th by picking which flag I like better

Truly truthy. Some of my World Cup picks are from the perspective of imagining an international war criminal (say, like Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Libby, Bolton, Perle, Woolsey, Kristol, Bush, Kissinger, et ilk.), and where they could hold out from extradition the longest.

Go by Gulfstream!

Spain wins....!!!!
