I remember in the good old days when there were actual parking meters. After events like a parade or construction project, I would swipe a few of the bags. I would then put one on a meter in front of my favorite watering hole, remove it when I parked there, plug the meter and replace the bag when I left. It worked most of the time unless someone actually read the dates and times printed on the bag.
Beautiful. And it's coming to Portland. With curb bubbles, bioswales, on-street bike parking, bike lanes, parking slots being reduced to 15 minutes, there's 1/3 less street parking in Portland.
