Portland breakdown shakes Worldwide Pablo from slumber
Even a sweet, laid-back guy like WWP can no longer bear to watch the collective nervous breakdown in silence. No kidding, friend.

Apparently, Saltzman is waking from slumber, too:

Oh boy... it looks like a full on scag (no morals for anyone involved) fight in City Hall is brewing. I haven't even thought about scag fights since I left H.S. in NY. Hmmm... high school, cat fighting, no morals seems to have a lot in common with city hall in PDX town.

Being the first to post that the Mayor is vindictive, Dan has yet again taken my words for his own. I'm flattered, but Dan I am no longer at the City to write your talking points anymore.
I have stated in every forum with him that using sewer $ for bike lanes was raiding dedicated resources that could only be used for sewers.(The Mayor has pulled a fast one by calling bike lanes - "green streets" - which are actually bio-swales - or glorified ditches). Dan argued that he would not allow the sewer $ to be used for bikes. I had to remind him that he already voted to do that. It was unanimous.
By George, he's got it, I think he's finally got it. Good job Commissioner.
