The Trail Blazers have evened the series with Phoenix, 2 games apiece. What's going to happen the rest of the way?

Brandon Roy became a legend today. Just seeing him walk to the scorer's table sent the team on a scoring spree.
Go Blazers.

The way things have been with Blazers and their knees this year, I was stunned to see Roy play a week after surgery.
Easy does it, dude. There's a career at stake here.

Appreciate Roy potentially sacrificing/shortening his career for the team. When the second best option on the team is a power forward in love with the 20 foot jumper and finesse moves, Blazers are going nowhere fast.

With Brandon in the Blazers will take it to 7 games but Suns win the series due to home court advantage. Without Brandon, Suns win it in 6.
I don't often agree with Barkley but he said it was stupid of Brandon to risk his career for a team that is not going to make the finals. Now I would love to see the Blazers go all the way but realistically it's not going to happen. They should not risk their star player.

Still trying to digest. Is it stupidity or brilliance to trot your franchise out 8 days after surgery? Have to say that I was strongly in the camp of you're not winning a championship this year so why bother at first. But that really is corporate thinking. So I've come around to simply believing in broy-he felt good and he couldn't sit still while his teammates were going to battle. Naïve, maybe. Risky,no doubt. But, in your heart of hearts aren't you really rooting for bravery, loyalty and cojones. I am.
